Das Wapuu (\u308f\u3077\u30fc) ist seit Februar 2011 das Maskottchen der globalen WordPress-Community. Ein freundlicher Charakter, der zum ersten Mal auf dem japanischen WordCamp Fukuoka ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Da das Wapuu, wie WordPress, unter der GPL2 lizensiert ist sind seitdem viele verschiedene lokale Wapuus entstanden. Traditionell hat jedes WordCamp mittlerweile eine eigene Version des niedlichen . Wir wollen diese Tradition beim WordCamp Frankfurt 2016 fortf\u00fchren und stellen deshalb unser eigenes Wapuu vor: das Frapuu.\n<\/div>\n
\nDas Frapuu ist ein echter Hesse und schlingt sich um einen sogenannten Bembel, eine Steinzeugkanne wie sie in Hessen klassischerweise zum Ausschank von Apfelwein genutzt wird.
\nWenn es nicht in einer Apfelweinkneipe sitzt und Handk\u00e4s\u2019 mit Musik isst, findet man das Frapuu wahrscheinlich auf dem Sachsenh\u00e4user Berg, Gedichte schreibend mit einem vertr\u00e4umten Blick auf die sch\u00f6nste Stadt im Rhein-Main-Gebiet: Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Unser Frapuu ist kultiviert und weltoffen, wei\u00df wie man feiert und ist f\u00fcr den meisten Spa\u00df zu haben, so wie Frankfurt auch. Wir m\u00fcssen davon ausgehen, dass das Frapuu ein direkter Nachfahre von Goethe ist.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\nSince Februar 2011 the Wapuu (\u308f\u3077\u30fc) is the official mascot of the global WordPress community. It appeared first at the japanese WordCamp Fukuoka. Wapuu, like WordPress is licensed under GPL2, and for this reason many local Wapuus were created for different occasions. Traditionally every WordCamp has its own version of the cute character. We want to uphold this tradition for the WordCamp Frankfurt 2016 and are proud to introduce to you: The Frapuu.\n<\/div>\n
\nFrapuu is a real Hesse and wraps around a so called Bembel, a hessian earthenware jug for serving apple cider. If it’s not sitting in a cider pub eating marinaded Handk\u00e4se, you’ll find the Frapuu on the Sachenh\u00e4user Berg, writing Poems with a dreamy look on the most beautiful city in the rhine main area: Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Our Frapuu is cultivated and cosmopolitan and knows how to party, as is Frankfurt. We have to assume that Frapuu is a direct descendant of Goethe himself.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
